Instructions for Securing Australian ETA Visa The visa is recorded electronically and there is no record of it in your passport or on any physical document. When you go to the airport to check in to fly to Australia, the agent at the check-in desk will pull up your ETA in their records using your passport information. For information on the ETA, you should read “ETAS Information for ETA Holders.” YOU MUST TAKE YOUR VALID PASSPORT WITH YOU FOR TRAVEL TO AUSTRALIA. We can secure your Australian Visa or ETA for you. The Cost is $40 including the consular fees. It usually takes 2 business days or less to secure the ETA. If you have questions, don't hesitate to contact an Australian ETA Specialist toll free at 1-800-806-0582. Citizens of the following countries are eligible to apply for an Australian ETA in the same manner as U.S. citizens:
